The Dracula Family
The Dracula line is your family. You play a young vampire who's left the family castle for Moonlight Peaks, out to prove to a skeptical father — Count Dracula himself — that the undead can live a warm, cozy life. It's a separate house from Orlock's Ambrosia vampires, and it's the one you build the whole game around.
Meet the family
Who's in the Dracula line
Your household — three vampires, one of whom is you:
- Your vampire — the character you create and play, newly arrived in Moonlight Peaks. Because you build them yourself, they're the town's one truly blank slate; the game never forces a look or identity on you.
- Count Dracula — your father, the skeptical patriarch you left home to prove wrong. Winning him round to the idea that a cozy life is a real life is the emotional spine of your story.
- Viktor — confirmed at launch as "Viktor Dracula," part of your household rather than Orlock's. You meet him during the early Wine Scheme quest — a memorable vampire with very particular tastes in decor.
Your family's story
This is the family the whole game hangs on. You've moved into an inherited cottage to make your own way, and the throughline is proving to Count Dracula that an undead can farm, befriend a town and settle down — that the cozy life is a legitimate one. Viktor turns up early, tangled into the Ambrosia family's Wine Scheme quest, and the launch confirmed he's a Dracula of your line rather than one of Orlock's.
Where to find them
The Dracula line is tied to your own corner of the map:
- Your inherited cottage — your home base and farm, where the cozy life actually happens.
- The catacombs — the old vampire spaces tied to the Dracula line beneath the town.
Dracula line vs the Ambrosia family
Moonlight Peaks has two separate vampire houses, and it's easy to mix them up. You, Count Dracula and Viktor are Draculas; Orlock's family — Mina, Evan, Samael and Elvira — are the Ambrosias who run the café and bar. Before launch it wasn't clear which house Viktor belonged to; the launch settled it as your line, not Orlock's.
Common questions
Who's in the Dracula line?
Your own vampire (the player character), Count Dracula (your father), and Viktor Dracula. It's the family you play as.
Is the Dracula line different from the Ambrosia family?
Yes — they're two separate vampire houses. You're a Dracula (along with Count Dracula and Viktor); Orlock's café-and-bar family are the Ambrosias.
Who is your father in Moonlight Peaks?
Count Dracula — the skeptical patriarch you leave home to prove wrong by showing the undead can live a warm, cozy life.
Is Viktor romanceable?
Not confirmed. Viktor is a memorable early-quest vampire of the Dracula line with very particular tastes in decor; whether he's a dating option is still being documented by players.
