Winston Gift Data Updated: Seven Loved Gifts Confirmed
Moonlight Peaks' current Winston data confirms seven loved gifts and several unexpected dislikes. Here is what changed and how to avoid outdated romance advice.
Winston’s current Moonlight Peaks gift table now gives players a dependable seven-item loved list: Alchemist’s Globe (Large), Alchemist’s Globe (Small), Blue Azalea, Diamond, Drippy Hat, Golden Egg, and Shakshuka. It also shows that several intuitive romance gifts—especially Chocolate, Mocha, and Honey—are bad choices for him.
This is an important correction to early launch coverage. Some guides filled gaps in the first week with broad guesses about enchanted crops, advanced potions, rare fish, Nokturna cards, or festival items. Those categories were never a verified Winston loved list. Now that his character data is populated, players can stop gambling valuable items and use exact names.
Winston’s seven confirmed loved gifts
| Loved gift | Planning note |
|---|---|
| Alchemist’s Globe (Large) | Decorative item; use when you have a spare |
| Alchemist’s Globe (Small) | Decorative item; use when replaceable |
| Blue Azalea | Practical flower target |
| Diamond | Valuable but dependable |
| Drippy Hat | Clothing item; keep one only if not needed elsewhere |
| Golden Egg | Rare, effective, and expensive to sacrifice |
| Shakshuka | Practical cooked option once ingredients are available |
Blue Azalea and Shakshuka are the editorial picks for routine courtship. A loved reaction is useful, but it should not cost a Museum objective, a building plan, or a major sale every time you visit. Flowers and cooking can become renewable; Diamonds and Golden Eggs have more competing uses.

Winston’s current liked table is much broader than his loved list. It contains many specific fruits, processed fruit products, breads, soups, coffee, and colored flowers. That does not mean every product in those general categories is safe. Use the full item table or a known example rather than assuming that all farm produce, every fish, or any potion will receive the same reaction.
The unexpected dislike list
The current data lists Cheese Soup, Chococake, Chocolate, Chocolate Cupcake, Honey, Mocha, Pancakes, and all Trash-group items as dislikes. That combination matters because chocolate and pancakes look like obvious date gifts, while Honey is a common “safe” present in farming games.
The official community wiki notes that some chocolate-related Winston reactions may be affected by a bug and also references his lactose intolerance. Until a verified patch changes the table or the in-game response, the sensible choice is to avoid the entire chocolate-and-mocha experiment. Players who want predictable progress should give Blue Azalea or Shakshuka.
Birthday and romance route remain straightforward
Winston’s birthday is Spring 13. Reserve one loved item beforehand and keep it out of the shipping flow. The birthday is an efficient boost, but it does not replace regular conversations, ordinary gifts, or relationship scenes.
His dating route uses the game’s shared system. Reach four hearts, view the required scene, speak to Winston and select Invite → Ask on Date, then sleep. The outing begins at the start of the next night. At eight hearts, view the next relationship scene and invite him out again; the proposal option becomes available at the end of the date.
The current official Winston page does not publish a dependable hour-by-hour schedule or a complete episode-trigger table. Claims that he always appears at one exact location, sends a particular letter, or requires a named festival scene should therefore be treated as unverified. After meeting him, use the in-game map and watch for relationship markers when a new heart threshold opens.
Why this update matters
Gift misinformation is unusually costly in Moonlight Peaks. A wrong item consumes inventory, wastes a once-per-night action, and can move the relationship in the wrong direction. It also creates circular errors when one early article repeats another article that never cited release data.
Our previous version of this page repeated some of those unsupported assumptions. We have removed claims that Winston loves generic enchanted crops, advanced potions, rare fish, or Nokturna cards, along with invented schedule and heart-event details. We have also removed the claim that the Moonlight Ball supplies a special massive relationship boost for Winston; the available sources do not support that character-specific mechanic.
That correction is part of a broader romance refresh. The new Winston romance guide contains the complete loved list, exact dislikes, Spring 13 plan, four-heart date steps, eight-heart proposal route, and common mistakes. His updated character profile now matches the same gift data.
What players should do now
- Save Blue Azalea or Shakshuka for repeatable gifting.
- Reserve a loved item before Spring 13.
- Do not spend a Diamond or Golden Egg when a replaceable favorite is ready.
- Avoid Chocolate, chocolate desserts, Mocha, Honey, Pancakes, Cheese Soup, and Trash.
- Use the map instead of an unverified fixed schedule.
- Trigger the relationship scene before expecting the four-heart invitation option.
- Keep the next night free after asking him on a date.
Winston is still one of the more approachable romance candidates; he simply is not the generic “loves every magical object” character that early gap-filled lists suggested. Accurate item names turn his route into a manageable Spring project and protect players from wasting both rare resources and relationship actions.
